If you've never been to a ceilidh or barn dance then these videos here may give you a better idea of what to expect. Each video lasts less than a minute. The videos are obviously of poor quality (both sound and vision) and very short - it would take hours to download anything half-way decent. They, like the tunes on the tunes page are only intended to give you some idea of what goes on in one of our ceilidhs. Since the audio was recorded on a small internal microphone on a digital camcorder, the sound quality on these videos is particularly bad. If you've got Windows XP they should download easily but other users may need to check they've got Window's Media Player installed. If you haven't then you can download it from the windows website. |
